ElevenLabs control test

This is the next strict pass/fail test. Retell sounded acceptable but wandered. OpenAI Realtime felt worse. ElevenLabs only passes if it sounds better than Vapi and follows the BDC script under interruption.

Controls

SDK status: disconnected

Lab status: Ready. This tests ElevenLabs control and cadence, not voice quality alone.

Requires ELEVENLABS_API_KEY and ELEVENLABS_BELLRINGER_AGENT_ID in .env.local.

Exact customer test

  1. Start by saying: 'Hello?'
  2. Interrupt with: 'Wait, what is this about?'
  3. Ask: 'Am I approved and what would my payment be?'
  4. Give a weird answer: 'Yeah maybe the purple paperwork one.'
  5. Resist: 'I don't want to come in unless I know numbers.'
  6. Pass condition: it still offers two specific non-round appointment times.

Pass/fail scorecard

If it sounds good but wanders, it fails.
